Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

Many thanks to those who have made our Holy Week observances and Easter celebrations extra special by your help and assistance. Thank you to Carol Wiemken, Sue Beck and Kathy Wagner for attending Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo to represent St. Michael’s Parish and bring back the Holy Oils for our parish.  They presented the oils, to us, at the Offertory on Holy Thursday at Mass. Thank you to all volunteers who accepted the  call (and assume the part of Jesus’ apostles) to have their feet washed at the Holy Thursday Mass.  As Jesus said, “What I do, so also you must do.”

To all of the wonderful Altar Servers:  Keely Culler, Annie & Ellie Rose, Kendall Smith, Spencer Giesige, Nick Rohrs, Gabby Fabiano, Trinity Lauber, Morgan & Max Lepplemeier, Raegan Beilharz, Dave Durham, Lauren & Kendall Sattler.

The Holy Week and Easter Services were not a regular, normal Sunday Mass service. There were extra duties required that are assigned to the altar servers with an extra training attendance. You were wonderful!! Thank you very much for serving God and His people.
Thank you to all of the Holy Week and Easter Lectors. Again, there were extra duties required that were out of the norm. You handled the task excellently.
Thank you to Deb Kolb who was the pianist for Holy Thursday and Good Friday! It really helped with the solemnity of those days. And of course, to Matthew Wachtman, who was the music instrumentalist for the Easter Vigil service. It was very much appreciated as it joyfully enhanced the celebration of our Holy Easter Vigil rites and Mass. A thank you to Thom Singer who played for our Easter Sunday Mass.  As always, Thom did a wonderful job and he made Easter morning Mass wonderfully festive!!
Thank you to Father Bob!!  He truly is a good and faithful servant who leads us in our worship of the Lord! He plans and prepares many things to accomplish the extra special events of the Week! We thank him for that.
Thank you to Deacon Scott Graham!  He has been a blessing and a help to Father Bob!  We are indebted to him for lightening the load on Father Bob. We have benefitted greatly for his help and assistance.
Thank you to Barb & Jeff Weber and their team, for all of their efforts at preparation of the church building, maintenance, cleaning, and the Agape service!  Much of what they do goes unnoticed, but our happiness and comfort in a clean, neat, and ordered environment along with the coordination of events really is remarkable and appreciated.
Thank you to Chris & Karen Newton for the important role they have assumed in being the liturgical coordinators of the servers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, shut-in ministers of Holy Communion. A sincere thanks for the splendid job they have done this year in helping to make the Holy Week Services a beautiful time of prayer & praise.

To anyone who helped in any way and was not mentioned in this acknowledgment, Thank-you as well!
You were needed and appreciated!

Have a Wonderful and Blessed Easter Season!!

DIVORCED & SEPARATED—So many are hurting from the pain of divorce.  Separation was never a part of God’s plan.  There are many too who don’t understand their place in the Church after a divorce.  A team has come together to help these people, to bring together a community of people to help one another.  It doesn’t matter your age, how long you were married, how long since your divorce, if you’re married again, or even if you’re not Catholic… You are welcome!  The team will be going around to a few of the parishes in our area to talk to people after Masses.  Then all are invited for a one-day Retreat on Sat., April 21, at St. Michael, Hicksville.  Our goal is God’s Healing and community.  Contact Deacon Rod at 419-542-6473 or rodconkle@live.com for more information.  You can go to https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bEY5B-6PN0y-DW3ZGv_KUip6LRPJtFusUp7mJBJGkJI    to fill in the form to get registered for the retreat.  The cost of the Retreat is a free will donation.

Please spread the word to any divorced or separated people you may know.
