A sincere Thank You to all who helped with the repair of the St. Mike’s Rectory Porch Railings, and the Masonry work on the porch pillars.  Rex Steffel, Dave Kahle, Tom Beck & Mark Flory spent many hours after work this past week or so repairing the mortar on the pillars and installing the new porch railings. It was a needed repair to continue to keep our St. Mike’s buildings looking great. God’s blessings to all who help in any way.

The St. Michael's Ridge Altar and Rosary Society will have their annual Christmas Party on Tuesday December 5, 2017. The event will begin with Mass at 6:00 pm followed by a catered dinner and entertainment. All the ladies of the parish are invited to attend. The cost for the evening is $8.00 per person. We ask that everyone bring a canned item for our local food pantry in lieu of a gift exchange. Please sign up to attend on the "sign up" sheets at each of the church entrances or you may call one of our officers with any questions.

Church Choir Organizational Meeting

As Christian stewards we strive to live in the Spirit. Many of us sing, hum, whistle, or listen to music and find a great Spirit in this practice. Everyone is capable of finding meaning in and benefitting from the musical experience. Call it spirit, talent or harmony, it’s not just in some of us, it's in all of us!

As a parish, we have had some brief discussions about restoring a time honored tradition of having a church choir.  If you have any interest or ideas please attend this upcoming meeting.

All parishioners (7th grade & up) are welcome to attend an organizational meeting on Tuesday, November 28th at 7pm in the church basement.  Bring your ideas and hopes with you.  Light refreshments will be served.

Open up your heart to God so He may use you for His purpose. Share His love, which He has poured out to us, with everyone you meet.

Northwest Ohio Men’s Fellowship Breakfast – The 1st event of the season will be the Father / Daughter (wife, granddaughter, special friend) breakfast on Saturday Dec. 9th at St John’s Catholic Church, Defiance.  Our guest speakers will be Hannah and Claire Homier and their parents Mark and Kathy.  They will share on their recent spiritual life changing experiences on their service trip to Haiti.  This spiritual experience has opened their eyes to God’s call for young and old to not only speak the Gospel, but to also live the Gospel in service and fellowship with others that God blesses us with in our life.  They will share an enlightening witness about how they feel God’s love and compassion for others has touched their lives and enabled them to gain greater understanding of God’s call of us to love and serve him.  It’s sure to be a great sharing, especially for the youth and those of us seeking God’s understanding of love and service.  The fellowship breakfast is an ecumenical effort of men to bring people of all faiths together to share fellowship and to gain support from one another.   All men, ladies, and their families and friend are invited.  Coffee/Rolls:  7:30 am – Breakfast / Program : 8:00 am

Mustard Seed Gift Shop is Keeping Christ in Christmas!  They have been asked by many when their Christmas items will be on display.  Because they want to take this time to express their Thanksgiving for the many blessings we have all been given, Christmas items will be out on display on and after Saturday, November 25.  Happy Thanksgiving from Mustard Seed Gift Shop, located in Glandorf, behind St John the Baptist Catholic Church.
